At best, I'd accept it for CK, but I personally preferred the portrait style that CK2 used much more.

I think the main problem will be the tick count; Vic3 uses 6 hour ticks and is designed to take a century, and while there is the fact that few people play EU4 past 1600, a lot of the time period will be beyond reach in a Vic3 engine.
