The scythe only scales with int when WA is active, thus, if you ever want to use it 1 handed or simple 2 handed, you need dex instead of int. I'm running around doing some PvP and i noticed a lot of people with really fast straightswords doing almost half my hp in damage with a single quick attack, meanwhile my quickattacks with 40/40 friedes scythe is doing maybe 1/10 of someones HP, ripostes dealing not even 1/5 of their hp.
